Automated Reset
Set Up Process

You need to complete a one time automated reset set up process before you can automatically reset your password.

Reset/forgot or Expired password

You can automatically reset a password if you have completed the one time automated reset set up process.

RESET PROCESS:

  1. Go to UCSF PeopleSoft log in page: https://peoplesoft.ucsf.edu/psp/fsprd/?cmd=login
  2. Click on "Forgot Password" link
  3. Enter your user id
  4. Enter a response to your predefined question
  5. Click "Send Password" button
  6. If your response to predefined question is correct, PeopleSoft emails you your new temporary password.
  7. Change your temporary password to a personalized password.

If you have not completed the automated reset set up process:

•  Call Customer Support Hotline for a password reset: 415-514-4100

•  Create online Remedy ticket for a password reset or forgotten password http://help.ucsf.edu

   

Locked out of PeopleSoft

After five (5) unsuccessful login attempts you will be locked out of PeopleSoft.

•  Call Customer Support Hotline for locked out assistance

Account Access:

Activate Deactivate
Modify

 

 

  • Contact your supervisor with request.
  • Supervisor will need to provide your access information to the departmental access administrator.
  • The Departmental Access Administrator will submit a request to Journals Security Administrator.
